Christmas magic is coming to the studio… 🎄✨
On Sunday 1st November 2026, I’ll be opening the doors of my studio for something I’ve been planning for quite some time — my Santa Mini Sessions in Worcestershire.
And this year, I wanted to create something that felt like much more than simply arriving at a studio, having a few photographs taken with Santa and heading home.
I wanted to create a little Christmas experience.
Something magical for the children, beautiful for the photographs, and something you’ll genuinely remember as part of your family’s Christmas traditions.
A Magical Santa Experience in Worcestershire
My Santa Mini Sessions are designed to capture those lovely, genuine moments that happen when children meet Santa.
There will be a beautifully styled Christmas set, Santa himself, and plenty of opportunity for natural interaction rather than simply sitting still and smiling at the camera.
The sessions will take place at Laura Jenkinson Photography Studio in Worcestershire on 1st November 2026, making it the perfect way to officially kick off the Christmas season.
And because I’m a photographer who loves the little in-between moments, I’ll be looking for the excitement, the wonder, the cuddles, the smiles and all those tiny expressions that make Christmas so special.
And Yes… There Will Be Donkeys! 🫏
Because apparently Santa needed some extra transport this year…
I’m absolutely delighted to be working with Eeyore & More Events, who will be bringing their gorgeous donkeys along to be part of the experience.
Children will have the opportunity to feed the donkeys during their 10-minute early arrival time, before their photography session begins.
That early arrival time is deliberately separate from the 30-minute photography session, so you can enjoy the experience without eating into your time in front of the camera.
It’s one of those little details that I think will make these Christmas mini sessions feel completely different from your usual Santa photographs.
A Very Special Letter from Santa
There’s something pretty magical about receiving a letter from Santa.
So I wanted to bring that into the experience too.
I’m working with Elle Bee Design, who has created the most gorgeous personalised letter from Santa for each booking.
It’s such a lovely keepsake and, more importantly, it adds another little layer of Christmas magic to the experience.
Imagine your child recieving their very own letter from Santa in the post… 🥹🎅

Christmas Mini Sessions Designed for Beautiful Photographs
Of course, the photographs are at the heart of everything I do.
My approach to family photography is relaxed, natural and fun. I’m not interested in forcing children into awkward poses or asking them to sit perfectly still for 30 minutes.
Instead, I want to give them space to be excited, curious and completely themselves.
That means lots of interaction, plenty of opportunities for genuine smiles and photographs that feel like your family, rather than a generic Christmas photograph.
And yes, there will absolutely be those gorgeous traditional Santa portraits too.
The aim is to give you a beautiful collection of Christmas photographs that you’ll love displaying at home, using for Christmas cards and looking back on for years to come.
